Spring is in full swing at the Chamber.  The flowers and trees are blooming, every weekend there seems to be some kind of run/walk or festival going on around town, and more and more people are coming into the Chamber office that are visiting the Farmington area, or they are looking to move to here.  I just love talking about Farmington and all that we have to offer.  The Farmington Chamber is ready to “Jolt Your Journey”.

So what does the Farmington Chamber of Commerce do, who are we, why to people come to the Chamber for information, and why should a business join?  Incorporated in 1953, the chamber is a volunteer association of business people.  We understand the importance of supporting local businesses, bringing in economic-based businesses, ensuring the success of new business, as well as promoting a better understanding of private enterprise.  Financed by membership investments, we are open to any business deciding to invest in the betterment of the community. The mission of the Farmington Chamber is organized for the purpose of serving and advancing the civic and business interests of the City of Farmington and the Four Corners region.

Some of the benefits for being a member of the Farmington Chamber are; Business Referrals (we only refer chamber members); members are listed in the Chamber’s Relocation Guide and on our website; networking events (Business After Hours, Speed Networking); business builder workshops; free use of Chamber boardroom (seating for 12); job board postings; ribbon cuttings; sponsorship opportunities, and the opportunity to service on Chamber committees (Education, Farmington Young Professionals, Finance & Operations, Health & Wellness, Legislative, Promotions & Special Events, and Redcoats).

There are many other benefits, and we are always looking for new way to make the Farmington Chamber even better for its members.  If  you are interested in becoming a Chamber member or if you are already a member and would like to take advantage of these benefits, please call the Chamber and we will be more than happy to assist.

Remember you can always stop by the Chamber office for all the latest news that is happening in the community or give us a call. Our office is located at 100 W. Broadway and our phone number is 505-325-0279. We would love to see you.
