Business model innovation workshop offered by college
The free workshop focuses on finding new ways to create, deliver and capture value for the customer and the business
- Participants will learn to use the Business Model Canvass.
- They will also learn to create prototype business models and make use of consumer insights.
FARMINGTON – The San Juan College Enterprise Center and New Mexico State University Arrowhead Center are sponsoring a workshop called "Business Model Innovation through Design Thinking," from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 5017 at the San Juan College Quality Center for Business, 5101 College Boulevard.
The workshop focuses on finding new ways to create, deliver and capture value for the customer and the business. Participants will learn how to systematically and pragmatically approach business model design using the Business Model Canvas. They will also create prototype business models and apply consumer insights to pivot a business model.
The workshop speaker is Estela Hernandez, fund manager of Arrowhead Innovation Fund at NMSU.
The workshop is free to the public, but registration is encouraged. Registration can be completed by going to universitycenter.eventbrite.com.
