It is time to fall in love with the fall season.  There is so much happening during this fall; fall festivals, football games, soccer games, art walks, chile roasting, pumpkin picking, craft fairs, walk-a thons and the list goes on and on.  What a great community we live in. This is the time of year to get involved.  If you have questions about what is happening in our area, please give the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce a call and we will be more than happy to help.

Recently, the Farmington Chamber Young Professionals hosted the First Annual New Mexico Young Professionals Conference. This was a great full day conference that offered professional development and networking opportunities. Our keynote speaker, Libby Spear, spoke about "What's Your Plan BE?" It was about finding who you want to Be as a professional, a team, an organization, a family.

The Farmington Chamber Redcoats Ambassadors have been busy doing ribbon cuttings for new businesses opening in Farmington. If you have just opened or moved your business the Redcoat Ambassadors would love to come and welcome your new business to Farmington.

Mark your calendars now for the Chamber’s Annual Chile in October. This year’s event will be held on Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Berg Park.  As you may know this is the weekend to get your chile fix and to have lots of fun. We are still looking for some really good red chile, green chile and salsa cooks.  We have also added a new category this year called Homestyle, which is your favorite recipe with whatever you want to put in it. If you are interested in participating, please give the chamber a call we would love have you participate.  This is also the chamber’s biggest Fun-raiser of the year. We hope you will plan on attending.

Remember you can always stop by the chamber office for all the latest news that is happening in the community or give us a call. Our office is located at 100 W.
