Hogs clean up for the Swine Show

Puoa, a spotted pig, gets a bath from owner Payton Miller with the Boot, Guns and Bling 4-H Club Tuesday at the San Juan County Fair at McGee Park in Farmington. Puoa will compete in the Swine Show Wednesday at the Jerry Connelly Show Ring starting at 8 a.m.

This morning will be all about swine as the Swine Show takes over the Jerry Connelly Show Ring in the Swine Barn after gates open at 8 a.m.

Tonight at 6:30 p.m. the program lists the Barnyard Olympics in the Memorial Coliseum.

It’s also Senior Citizens and Special Needs Day at the San Juan County Fair. Seniors and citizens with special needs will be admitted into the fair at no charge, according to a fair document.

The carnival opens at 5 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. The fairgrounds close at 11 p.m.
