Chamber Chat: It's time to fall in love with fall again
It is time to fall in love with the fall season.
There is so much happening during the months of September and October; fall festivals, football games, soccer games, art walks, chile roasting, pumpkin picking, craft fairs, walk-a thons and the list goes on and on.
What a great community we live in. This is the time of year to get involved.
Chile in October
The Chamber’s Annual Chile in October will be held on Saturday, October 6th from 11-3 at Berg Park. As you may know this is the weekend to get your chili fix and to have lots of fun. We are still looking for some really good red chili, green chili and salsa cooks. If you are interested, please give the Chamber a call we would love have you participate. This is also the Chamber’s biggest community outreach of the year. We hope you will plan on attending.
Creating resilient businesses
The Farmington Downtown Business Resiliency Project (a coalition of business‐support resource partners and sponsored by the Farmington Metropolitan Redevelopment Area Commission) is in full swing and the first of a series of ten trainings focused on small business marketing and financial preparedness started Sept. 17 at the HQ downtown. We had 24 businesses attend the first class. The trainings are designed to increase business resiliency and profitability. It is not too late to get involved and come to the trainings.
