Bloomfield's Grower's Market in full summer swing

Janet Mackey
Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce

Hello from Bloomfield.

Fall is definitely in the air – mornings are crisp and evenings are cool.  Our Grower’s Market is in full swing.  Come to Bishop Park every Thursday from 4 –6 p.m. – for a wide variety of produce, locally made honey and even fresh fry bread. The Grower’s Market will continue until the first freeze. Fresh veggies and fry bread — life does not get much better than that!

Don’t forget that the City of Bloomfield, the Police Department, the Fire Department and the Chamber all have Facebook pages which list press releases, current events and much more interesting information. Our goal is to provide the community with timely and accurate information.

Our thanks go out to the City of Bloomfield and all the great things that they have accomplished for our citizens and the many projects that are on-going.  The Chamber and the City work so closely – and together we accomplish great things for our community.  Personally, I know we at the Chamber could not do our job without all of these fine outstanding folks – from City Hall, to the Police Department, to the Parks Department to the Fire Department – they are all in integral part of the Chamber – and are all wonderful ambassadors for our City.  Thank you so much for all you do on the job, as well as volunteering many hours for the special events that we have throughout the year in Bloomfield.

One of the events at the Chamber that is coming up is our Feed the Families program.  We are accepting non-perishable food items, as well as cash donations.  In the past, we have been able to not only feed 20-25 families with a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner – we provide a week’s worth of groceries also. If this is something that you would like to learn more about, please call Amy at the Chamber at 632-0880 – or you can deliver your donations to 224 W. Broadway.

A warm Bloomfield welcome to our new member – Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine of Northern New Mexico – wishing them a warm welcome and great success in their new Bloomfield digs!

If you are interested in becoming a Chamber member or if you would like to have a business after or before hours or would like to schedule a ribbon cutting – just let us know and we will come and visit with you.
