Engagement: Lauren Lloyd and Cameron Mortensen

Lauren Lloyd, of Snowflake, Ariz., and Cameron Mortensen, of Aztec, will exchange wedding vows on Dec. 18 in Mesa, Ariz. An open house reception will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 26 at the Red Lion Inn Hotel, 700 Scott Ave. in Farmington.

Lauren is the daughter of Lane and Shanda Lloyd, of Snowflake. Cameron is the son of Glen and Cynthia Mortensen, of Aztec. They met while attending the nursing program at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Ariz. Both are nursing students at Arizona State University.

Cameron proposed to Lauren on Sept. 22 outside the Gila Valley Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Thatcher.

The couple had been dating for two years.
