Linda and Jerry Walker to mark 50th anniversary

Linda and Jerry Walker will celebrate 50 years of marriage later this month.

Linda (Perry) and Jerry Walker, of Aztec, will celebrate 50 years of marriage later this month.

They plan to celebrate the milestone with a celebration from 2 to 5 p.m. Feb. 25 at First Baptist Church of Aztec, 700 Navajo St.

The couple were high school sweethearts at Aztec High School. They married on Feb. 24, 1967, in Aztec.

Jerry worked as president and CEO of the Independent Community Bankers Association of New Mexico for 21 years. Linda owned The Walker Agency in Farmington for 32 years.

Together, the couple enjoy traveling and spending time with family.

They have three children, Debbie Foelker, Chris Walker and Kim Ketron, all of Aztec. Their grandchildren include Nicole Keeswood and Kevin Lynn, both of Farmington, Marcus Foelker, Kaity and Kelsey Ketron, all of Aztec, as well as Brandon Walker (deceased). They also have two great-grandchildren, Kino and Kambria Keeswood, both of Farmington.
