Hospital wins NM Performance Excellence Award

FARMINGTON — San Juan Regional Medical Center was recently awarded a New Mexico Performance Excellence Award from Quality New Mexico.

The Farmington hospital was among 17 organizations in the state that received the Adobe Level award, according to a press release from San Juan Regional Medical Center.

The awards recognize New Mexico organization for their customer and employee satisfaction, management and innovation, according to the Quality New Mexico website.

"We strive to provide the highest quality services to our patients," said Jeff Bourgeois, the hospital’s president and CEO, in a prepared statement. "This award shows that we’ve laid a strong foundation."

The hospital received the award at the New Mexico Governor's Mansion on Dec. 7.

A formal recognition will take place at the 2017 Quality New Mexico Learning Summit and New Mexico Performance Excellence Awards Ceremony in April.
