San Juan College High School hosts ribbon cutting

At center, Don Lorett, principal at San Juan College High School, cuts the ribbon during a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new school on Aug. 19. The school is the first early college high school in New Mexico that represents a partnership between a community college and four school districts. Eighty students from the Farmington, Aztec, Bloomfield and Central Consolidated school districts are enrolled in the school. Graduates will earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree. The new school is located next to the Learning Commons Plaza at San Juan College in Farmington.
