College hires associate vice president for learning

FARMINGTON — San Juan College has hired Adrienne Forgette as the school’s associate vice president for learning.

Forgette previously spent eight years as dean of faculty at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, according to a press release from San Juan College.

At San Juan College, she will serve on the college and learning leadership teams and oversee the directors of the library, east and west campuses, the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Student Success Center, the release states.

She will also be involved in developing the school’s online courses and class schedules and helping with faculty development and university partnerships.

Forgette has a master’s degree in theology and a doctorate in psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary. She also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University and an associate degree from Mount San Antonio College.
