FARMINGTON — A UPS driver from Farmington was recently inducted into the company’s Circle of Honor for 25 years of accident-free driving.

Russell Hill was among nine New Mexico drivers inducted into the organization, UPS announced in a press release issued Feb. 24.

A total of 1,613 drivers were inducted recently.

More than 8,700 active drivers are part of the Circle of Honor, meaning they have achieved 25 years of driving without any accident

There are 539 UPS drivers in the state, and 36 of them are currently in the Circle of Honor.

"My thanks go to all of them for their dedication and focus and for the countless lives they’ve saved," said Kenneth Cherry, president of the UPS Desert Mountain District, in a prepared statement. "Their attention to detail has kept them safe and has helped improve public safety."
