Anniversary: Scott and Darla Griffith
Scott and Darla Griffith of Farmington celebrated their pearl 30th wedding anniversary with a trip at the end of June to Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The couple went on their trip with friends.
Scott met Darla Ringgold while she was working at Dizzyland Liquors, and it was love at first site. The couple married Aug. 24, 1985, at the Lighthouse Church, East U.S. Highway 64 in Farmington, and the service was officiated by the Rev. Jack Wheat.
Scott retired from C & L irrigation, and he purchased June's Mall in Bloomfield, which keeps him very busy. Darla is employed with the San Juan Center for Independence in Farmington.
They enjoy being together, going on trips, going out on their houseboat, boating, riding in the hills on their side-by-side ATV, playing games and being with their friends. Darla enjoys her Bunco night out. Darla and Scott love to watch football. They are avid Green Bay Packers and Steelers fans.
The couple have a son, Michael Justin (Becca) Griffith Sr.; and two grandsons, Michael Justin Griffith Jr. and Jason Aric Griffith.
