Anniversary: Charles and Alyce Kromer
Charles and Alyce Kromer, of Farmington, will celebrate their golden 50th wedding anniversary on July 5 with their children, in-laws and grandchildren.
Charles and Alyce were married June 5, 1965, in San Angelo, Texas, and moved to New Mexico in 1993.
Charles retired as a teacher, coach, principal and school superintendent in Texas in 1993, and he retired from New Mexico schools in 2004.
Alyce is a retired public school teacher from Texas and New Mexico schools.
They are adjunct instructors at San Juan College. Charles teaches sociology, and Alyce teaches English.
The couple have five children, Kevin (Debbie) Kromer of Harlingen, Texas; Chris (Sylvia) Kromer of Mercedes, Texas; Alyssa (Dominick) Edwards of Fort Benning, Ga.; Misty (Johnny) Bakane of Taylorsville, Ky.; and Kristy (Ty) Vaughan of Waterflow; and 14 grandchildren, Benjamin Edwards, Joshua Edwards, Danielle Edwards, Madison Kromer, Christian Kromer, Cameron Kromer, Brendon Kromer, John Louis Bakane, Molly Bakane, Charlotte Bakane, Lily Bakane, Hunter Vaughan, Austin Vaughan and Caleb Vaughan.
