Pets of the Week: Jan. 31

The Daily Times staff

Hope: Hope is 1-year-old boxer and cocker spaniel mix. She is a smaller gal at only 22 pounds. Hope is an absolute doll! She's great with other dogs and kids and would make a great family dog. She is playful and happy and so badly wants a place to call home.

Blanca: Blanca is 1-year-old boxer mix. She has the personality of a boxer and is very playful and fun. She would likely do well with another playful dog in the home. Blanca is very sweet and is beautiful inside and out.

Simon: Simon is 1 1/2-year-old domestic short-hair mix. He is a gorgeous orange and white tabby. He is currently residing in the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter's social room with another cat so he would most likely fit right in to a household with other cats. He is sweet and outgoing and looking for a place to call home.

Gus: Gus is a 2-year-old, beautiful white cat. He can be a little quiet at first but is very loving. He would love to curl up in your lap in the evenings and have a home of his own. Gus is already neutered and microchipped and ready to go home.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Lilly: Lilly is a 25-year-old donkey. She came to Four Corners Equine Rescue after being picked up as a stray and her friend, Millie, near a local highway.

Lilly is a gentle, quiet donkey that enjoys being groomed. She arrived at Four Corners Equine Rescue about 150 pounds overweight and will need a home willing to continue her diet and exercise.

Lilly does lead nicely and loads into a trailer easily. She is current on her vaccinations, deworming and teeth floating. Her adoption fee for Lilly is $150.
