Joey

Dogs

Joey: Joey is a young boxer mix who is only 9 months old.  He can be a tiny bit shy at first but is a big, lovable goofball after he warms up.  Joey would love an active home where he can play all day and then cuddle in the evening.

Leeroy: Leeroy is a 1-year-old Plott Hound mix that is sweet as can be.  He is ready for his forever home this holiday season.  His adoption fee is only $25 during the shelter’s “Home for the Holidays” special and he is ready to go home with you.

Cats

Baby: Baby is a 3-month-old calico kitten looking for a home to call her own.  She is playful, fun and sweet.  She is very much still a kitten and would love to play with the ornaments on your Christmas tree. All kittens are only $50 to adopt during the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter’s “Home for the Holidays” special.

Baby

Estelle: Estelle is an older cat who still has a lot of love to give.  Estelle is a bigger cat but that doesn't mean she still wouldn't love to lay in your lap.  Estelle is 12 and is looking for a place to call home for the rest of her days.  She is currently in the shelter’s social room and gets along with the other cats.  Her adoption fee is only $25.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check Petfinder.com for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Horse

Thred: Thred, whose name is Thred because he is the third horse to come to Four Corners Equine Rescue with the name Red, is an 18-year-old gelding.

He is a beautiful liver chestnut, standing about 14.3 hands high and weighing about 800 pounds. Thred has been ridden in his past and currently is in training to renew his skills.

He is energetic and ready to go, and he will need a confident, lightweight rider. For the right person, Thred will make an awesome trail horse.

He is current on his vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof care.

Thred's adoption fee is $400 and that includes six lessons with a trainer for horse and adopter.
