Pets of the Week: Dec. 6

The Daily Times staff
Emily

Dogs

Emily: Emily is a 4-year-old pit mix looking for a home for the holidays. She loves to play and go for walks, but at the end of a long day, she will curl up at your feet to rest. Emily has been at the shelter since July, and the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter staff would love to see her dream of a home come true.

Ruby

Ruby: Meet Ruby. She is new to the shelter and is a tad shy. You need to spend time with Ruby to know that she is a real sweetheart. Ruby is a 1-year-old shepherd mix looking for her forever home this Christmas. Stop by to meet her today.

Cats

T.T.

T.T.: This is a handsome 6-month-old, long-haired male cat. He has lots of personality and would love to come keep your feet warm for the long cold winter.  T.T will need to stay the night to be neutered, but his adoption fee is only $25 during the animal shelter's Home of the Holiday sale.

Damien: Damien is a big handsome Siamese mix looking for a place to call home.  He can be choosy of his cat friends but loves all people. He comes running and meowing when he hears the food rattle. Come down to meet Damien or one of the shelter's many other cats.

Damien

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check Petfinder.com for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Horse

Bambi: Bambi is a sweet young filly. She was running with a band of wild horses, although she appears to be a domestic horse.

Bambi

Bambi is 3 years old, sorrel in color and stands about 14.2 hands high. She will probably mature to be around 15 hands high. She is learning to trust people and can be haltered now.

Staff at Four Corners Equine Rescue are working on getting her to pick up her feet. Bambi responds well to kindness, and now loves to be brushed.

She will need a home with a person who is willing to spend lots of quality time with her building a bond. With this girl, slow and steady will win her heart.

Bambi is current on vaccinations and deworming. Four sessions with a natural horsemanship trainer for Bambi and her adopter are included in her $200 adoption fee.
