Dogs

Hairy-Pawter: Hairy-Pawter is as cool as his name. He loves people and other dogs and is looking for a new place to call home. Hairy-Pawter is a 2-year-old male red heeler. He likes toys and playing fetch. He will need to stay the night to be neutered.

Emily: Emily is an amazing dog with a lot of love to share with people. She has been at the shelter since July, and she would love to be laying under your table for Thanksgiving this year. She has a great personality and would make a great fit to any home.

Cats

Cleopatra: You don't want to miss Cleopatra. This little girl is a total love bug. She is friendly with other cats and people, but is not sure about dogs.  She loves to cuddle and would love nothing more than to sit on your lap. Cleopatra’s coat is healthy and well groomed.

Estelle: This is a sweet older cat looking for her second chance at a wonderful home. She is 12 years old, but don’t let that fool you; she still has a spring in her step. She does well with other cats and loves to be petted. If you are interested, go to the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter to meet Estelle today.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check Petfinder.com for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Horse

Francie: Francie was one of six horses rescued from a local hoarder. She is about 15 years old and stands about 15.1 hands high.

Francie is very gentle and appears to have been saddle trained at some point in her life. But that was long ago, and Francie will need a patient person who is willing to work with her to renew her skills.

She halters, leads, stands for the farrier and loads just fine. And she is up to date on farrier work, deworming, teeth floating and vaccinations.

Her adoption fee is $250, and that includes three lessons with a trainer.
