Pets of the Week: Nov. 1

The Daily Times staff

Diamond: Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but this Diamond is everyone’s best friend. Diamond is a nine-month-old spayed female pit bull. She has lots of energy and love to give. She is looking for a home where she can sparkle and shine. Having lots of toys for her to play with is a must. If you would like to meet Diamond, stop at the Farmingtin Regional Animal Shelter between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily.

Jerry: Jerry is a sweet and gentle lovebug. He gets a little nervous around new people but settles in quick. He does well with other dogs and would love to find a nice home where he can lounge around. If you are looking for a dog that’s not too hyper, Jerry is your guy.

Butterscotch: This fuzzy little ball of fur was found as a stray. Butterscotch is a fun-loving dude with a feisty attitude for cuddles! He loves to romp, pounce, chase and climb on anything that may or may not move. This rad little fellow could dance all night long if you don't give him adequate cuddles and pets. If you're looking for company that will provide motion to your life, this little boy is for you.

Emile: Meet Emilie. She is ready to go home with you today and would love to have a forever home. She is super sweet. Emilie would make a great addition to any home, so stop by to meet, adopt and take her home today.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Chama: Chama is a 4-year-old wild horse gelding from the Chama area of New Mexico.

He is now trained to halter, lead and stand for the farrier. Chama is small, about 13 hands high, and will be a small horse. He is very smart, but shy around people. He will need patient hands to help him become a riding partner.

Chama is current on vaccinations, deworming and farrier work. His adoption fee is $125.
