Bullet: This one handsome boy who is going to be a great companion for a lucky person or family. He is loving and attentive and just wants to be around people. Bullet does well with other dogs. If you think he might be the right fit for your family, stop in to meet him today.

Kimber: Kimber is quite adorable! She has a happy and feisty temperament. She likes people and is good with other dogs. She absolutely loves to be held and cuddled. She would do well in an indoor home. She is cute, lively and very sweet.

Harley: Harley is a beautiful black cat who will charm you with her friendly personality. This long-haired lady is almost 2 years old and is rather small, weighing just more than 8 pounds. But don’t let her size fool you. Harley is proof that grand things come in small packages. Harley is ready to go home with you today.

Cid: This is a very lovable cat. He is a vocal guy and likes to talk to you as you walk by his kennel. He is looking for a home to call his own. If you think Cid would be a great addition to your family, stop in to see him.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Ruth: Ruth is a beautiful 6-year-old mare.

Once a wild horse, Ruth came to Four Corners Equine Rescue after being captured as part of a "trespass" herd on U.S. Forest Service land near Cuba. Pregnant at the time, her baby has since moved on, and now Ruth is ready for a new home, too.

She halters, leads, loads and stands for the farrier. Ruth is not saddle trained and will require the patient hands of an experienced person to continue her training using natural horsemanship techniques. She is current on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and farrier work. Her adoption fee is $350 and includes four lessons with a natural horsemanship trainer.
