Horse

Ruth: Ruth is a beautiful 6-year-old mare.

Once a wild horse, Ruth came to Four Corners Equine Rescue after being captured as part of a "trespass" herd on U.S. Forest Service land near Cuba. Pregnant at the time, her baby has since moved on, and now Ruth is ready for a new home, too.

She halters, leads, loads and stands for the farrier. Ruth is not saddle trained and will require the patient hands of an experienced person to continue her training using natural horsemanship techniques. She is current on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and farrier work. Her adoption fee is $350 and includes four lessons with a natural horsemanship trainer.

For more information, contact Four Corners Equine Rescue at 505-334-7220 or visit www.fourcornersequinerescue.org.
