Pets of the Week: Sept. 6

The Daily Times staff

Louie: This is an active guy who is looking for a place to call home. He gets a little hyper in his kennel, so if you stop by, ask to see him outside. He likes walks and toys.

Charlie: Charlie is a super sweet guy who wants a quiet home. He would make a great companion for someone who needs a little love in his or her life. Charlie is not very active and likes to go on walks and then curl up at your feet.

Hilda: Are you looking for a new best friend? Look no further, Hilda is your gal. She is sweet and loyal and gives big hugs and kisses. She is looking for a buddy that will take her on daily walks and have playtime. She is good with people of all ages and does well with other dogs.

Gin: Meet Gin. He has been at the shelter since April, and it’s time to find him a new place to call home. He is a staff and volunteer favorite. He does better with female dogs and likes to play with toys.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Pretty Lady is a stunning 10-year-old mare.

She and her baby came from a kill pen. The baby has been adopted, and now it is time for Pretty Lady to find a home.

She is very intelligent and engaging. While she does halter, lead and load, she is not saddle trained. Pretty Lady needs a home with someone who has some experience or is willing to learn natural horsemanship.

She is current on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and farrier care. Her adoption fee is $300.
