Pets of the Week: Aug. 16

The Daily Times staff

Pink: Pink is an active gal looking for a fun loving home. She likes walks in the park, but because of her white coat, she needs to be protected when out on walks. Please stop in to meet her today.

Lily: This is a fun gal with a bursting personality! She likes to run and play and having toys wills keep her active for hours. She is looking for a new family to call her own. If you think Lily would be a good match for your family, come down to meet her in person.

Alder: Alder is a big, handsome boy with a pure white coat and blue eyes. He likes to lie on your lap and soak up the attention you give.  He would prefer to be an indoor cat and loves people

Olive:  This is a cat with lots of personality. She will lean into the front of her kennel until you open it up to pet her. She has a soft meow and long fur that will need to be brushed often to keep her looking great. Olive is spayed and ready to go home today.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

One Shot: One Shot is an 8-year-old, gentle "pocket pony." He loves to be around people, and follows around Four Corners Equine Rescue staff whenever they're in his area.

One Shot is a thoroughbred, although he's never raced. Standing 16.1 hands high, he's a very tall guy.  One Shot is currently in training working on his ground manners using natural horsemanship techniques. He has tons of potential.

One Shot is current on vaccinations, deworming and farrier work. His $400 adoption fee includes six lessons.
