The Daily Times staff

Barney: Barney is a big dog with an even bigger personality. If you are looking for a running and hiking playful companion, look no further; Barney is the dog for you. Barney is a 3-year-old male that needs a home. If you would like to meet Barney, stop in and say hi today. Barney will need to stay the night to get neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee will be $80.

Zefra: Meet Zefra, a sweet little gal looking for a new home.  She can be a bit shy at first but warms up to new people quickly.  She does well with other dogs and likes kids. If you think Zefra would make a great addition to your family, stop in and meet her today.

Toby: Toby is a big beautiful gray tabby cat. He is 4 years old, gets along with other cats and wants to find a new home where he can roam around the house and explore. Toby likes looking out the window and watching the world and loves scratches under the chin.

Helene: Helene is a sweet calico with beautiful markings. She does well with other cats and would like to be an indoor cat at her new home. If you would like to meet Helene, stop in today.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Sarah: Sarah is a 13-year-old thoroughbred mare that was rescued by a kind lady.  She's an off-the-track horse that just didn't run fast enough.

Sarah has completed rehabilitation and is ready for a new home. Staff at Four Corners Equine Rescue have treated her for ulcers, and she's fine now. Sarah does windsuck. Her ground manners are great.

She leads, loads, stands for the farrier and likes to be groomed.  Sarah is ready for a new life of casual trail riding. Sarah is current on vaccinations, deworming and farrier work. Her $400 adoption fee includes four lessons with a professional trainer.
