Pets of the Week: June 21

The Daily Times staff

Rayna: This sweet 2-year-old gal is looking for a forever home. She likes people and other dogs. She would prefer to be an indoor dog and curl up at your feet. If you think Rayna is the perfect fit for your family, stop by the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter and spend some time with her. Her adoption fee is $80. Once adopted, Rayna would have to stay the night so she could get spayed and chipped.

Ella: Ella is sweet and loving Austrailian shepherd mix that is looking for a place to call home. She is mellow and greets everyone with a tail wag. She like walks in the park and nap time after. She is a long-hair dog and will need to be brushed and groomed regularly.

Mercy: Mercy is friendly and outgoing and will greet you at her kennel door. If you are looking for a social butterfly, Mercy is it. She is only three months old and has all the kitten playfulness about her.

Seneca: Seneca is one fun cat! She has pretty calico markings and a healthy coat. She has a loving personality and enjoys petting of all kinds. Seneca is a playful, outgoing girl and loves to talk, too. She is sure to make a wonderful companion.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Drifter: This is a beautiful dun gelding that was captured in April.

Drifter was a herd stallion, but is transitioning well to domestic. Now at 10 years old, he is a gelding.

Drifter is smart and willing to please, and he is a joy to work with.

His training will continue for another 30 days using natural horsemanship methods. Adopters are encouraged to participate in this process. His adoption fee is $400.
