Jazz: Jazz is quite the little character. She may appear shy at first, but get her outside and you will see her spring to life. This girl loves treats, and it is fun to see her sit to get one or two.

Daisy: Daisy is a sweet gal looking for a loving home. She is great with everyone she meets and just wants to be a part of a family. Stop in and meet her today.

Lupe: This is a sweet girl looking for a home where she can be herself and blossom. She likes to explore and play with string. She is ready to go home today.

Jeff: Jeff has got personality and loves to curl up in your lap and sleep the day away.  He is already neutered and is ready to go to his new home today. Come meet this cool cat.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Paddy is a well-built 5-year-old gelding. He is a domestic horse, but has been treated harshly and does not trust humans, especially in small spaces.

Paddy is gentle and will need a person who can work with him to overcome his fear of people. He is not trained to ride. Staff at Four Corners Equine Rescue have started his training using natural horsemanship techniques, and he is responding well.

Paddy stands about 14.3 hands high and weighs about 1,000 pounds. He has great confirmation and will be an excellent trail partner.

Six lessons with a professional natural horsemanship trainer are included in the adoption fee, which is $500.

Paddy is current on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and farrier work.
