Pets of the Week: May 10

The Daily Times staff

Koda: Koda is an active guy looking for an active family to adopt him. He likes to run and play and does well with most other dogs. He is a 3-year-old retriever mix, and if you would like to meet him, stop by today and ask to meet Koda.

Chip: This is a big goofy boy who wants to find his forever home. He likes going for walks in the park and sitting in the yard while getting lots of love from people. He can be a bit choosy of his dog friends, so staff at the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter recommend bringing your dog in to meet Chip.

Pepper: Pepper is a staff and volunteer favorite. She like to play fetch, run and play. She is amazing with other dogs and gets along with all people. She is a 1-year-old pit mix and is spayed and ready to go home today.

Diloris: This is a sweet playful girl who doesn’t want to grow up in the shelter. She has been at the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter since April 4 and would like to find her home today.  She likes playing with toys and loves to be pet.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Annie is a gorgeous red dun quarter horse mare with excellent confirmation.

She is 5 years old and stands about 14.3 hands high. Annie is not trained to ride. She has been started with ground training using natural horsemanship techniques.

Annie came to Four Corners Equine Rescue with Apple when their owner experienced medical issues that resulted in not being able to care for the horses. Annie is very bonded with Apple and will need a person who can spend the time and patience to help Annie overcome her fear of being left behind.

Annie's adoption agreement will include a no breeding clause. She is current on vaccinations, deworming, farrier work and teeth floating. Her adoption fee is $500.
