Pets of the Week: April 19

The Daily Times staff

Abby: If you are looking for a loyal friend who will follow you anywhere, look no further. Abby is looking for a forever best friend. She is little, so she can go almost everywhere with you. She likes to be close to her person and can curl up in your lap while you are watching you favorite show. Come visit Abby today.

Toby: Full of life and love is how to describe Toby.  He is a fun guy who is looking for a family that will take him on walks and out to play daily.  He is a 1-year-old Australian shepherd mix. He does well with other dogs and greets all people with a tail wag and puppy kisses. Toby is neutered and ready to go home.

Kisses: This is a sweet 8-month-old Siamese cat looking for a place to call home. If you have been looking for a playful cat who will chase the ball and explore the house, come down and meet Kisses. She is waiting. Kisses will have to spend the night to get spayed.

Cheryl: Laid-back and affectionate describes Cheryl. She is very sweet and affectionate. If you have a free hand for some kitty pets, come and meet her. She still needs to be spayed but is ready to meet you and can’t wait to go home.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Trudy is a very well-built buckskin mare. She is 8 years old and was found roaming around outside of Cuba.

Standing right at 15 hands high, Trudy is a stocky girl weighing about 1,000 pounds. She is halter-trained and stands for the farrier.

Trudy is not saddle-trained, but she is very gentle and quiet. The adoption fee for Trudy is $400 and includes six lessons in natural horsemanship for her and her owner.

Trudy is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and teeth floating.
