Pets of the Week: April 12

The Daily Times staff

Gator: This is a 1-year-old shepherd mix. He has been at the shelter for a while and needs a new place to call home. He enjoys playing outside and going to long walks. He is a real sweetheart with lots of affection and love to give. Please consider adding him to your family. He is neutered and ready to go home today.

Princess C: Princess C is a cute cuddly young lady looking for a forever family to fall in love with her. She likes to play with toys and chase the ball. She is smaller, so she would prefer to be an indoor dog and keep your feet warm at night. Please come down and meet her today.

Princess C

Tiger: Tiger is the cliché curious cat. He seems to want to explore his surroundings. That being said, he is also a sweet, lovable boy. Tiger would love to be spoiled with toys and maybe a big cat tree. Tiger is looking for a home to love and play with him unconditionally.

Chappie: Chappies is a sweet tortoiseshell cat. She seems OK with other cats, but slow introductions are always a good idea. Give Chappie love and affection, and she will be a great forever friend. Because she is young, Chappie may be playful.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Emmy is a beautiful, dapple gray 9-year-old mare. She stands about 15.1 hands high and weighs about 1,000 pounds.

Emmy is probably a quarter horse/thoroughbred cross. Emmy is halter trained and will need a patient partner to guide her through being saddle trained. She is very gentle, but lacks confidence.

She is current on vaccinations, deworming and teeth floating. Her adoption fee is $400 and includes four lessons on natural horsemanship techniques for both the horse and her new owner.
