Computer Basics III:Learn about Microsoft Office 2010 during a class from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting March 15 at the Bloomfield Senior Center, 124 W. Ash Ave. The Encore class will teach students to create letters, fliers, greeting cards, budgets, inventory and other files using programs like Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Participants with laptops can bring their own laptop. More information:

Sycamore Park Fitness: An Encore class from 9 to 10 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting March 11 at Sycamore Park Community Center, 1051 Sycamore St., will teach students about low-impact exercise. These exercises focus on range of motion, agility, flexibility and balance. More information:

Eating Our Words: A new Encore class that deals with how food is portrayed in literature and film will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays starting March 8. More information:

Hooks and Needles: A handwork group meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays at Bonnie Dallas Senior Center Activity Center, 208 N. Wall Ave. The group welcomes members who enjoy crafts, such as knitting, crocheting, embroidery and cross-stitch. More information: 505-566-2256

Benefits Counseling: Learn about options in the New Mexico health insurance program by setting up an appointment to meet with an expert between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center Annex, 208 N. Wall Ave. More information: 505-566-2256

Blood pressure check: Get a free screening between 9 and 10 a.m. Wednesdays at the Sycamore Park Community Center, 1051 Sycamore St. More information: 505-566-2480.

St. Patrick’s Day Bingo: Try your luck at a game of bingo from noon to 2 p.m. March 14 at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center, 109 E. La Plata St. Cards are 50 cents each. More information: 505-599-1380
