Chewie: Chewie is a handsome fellow. He loves to play and even knows a few commands. He is eager to please. You wouldn’t know it by his actions, but he is 8 years young! If you think you have a place in your heart and home for Chewie, come meet him today. His adoption fee is $50.

Jane: Jane is a sweet, 1-year-old Chihuahua looking for a forever home. It has been a bit overwhelming for her at the shelter, so she may seem a bit nervous when you come to meet her. She is small and loves to be held and comforted. She is hoping to find her forever home today.

Shazam: Shazam is an adorable male kitty is full of love and fun. Shazam has a beautiful white and black coat. He would make a great addition to a family of any age because he’s friendly, affectionate and well-mannered.

Siberius: Siberius is a handsome cat. He has pretty blue eyes and colorful markings. This guy is playful and quite a talker and loves attention and lots of pets. He hopes you will meet him and give him the love he deserves.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Paddy: Paddy is a well-built, 5-year-old gelding. He is a domestic horse, but has been treated harshly and is not trusting of humans, especially in small spaces. He is gentle and will need a person who can work with him to overcome his fear of people.

He is not trained to ride. Four Corners Equine Rescue has started his training using natural horsemanship techniques, and he is responding well.

Paddy stands about 14.3 hands high and weighs about 1,000 pounds. He has great confirmation and will be an excellent trail partner.

Six lessons with a professional natural horsemanship trainer are included in the adoption fee. Paddy is current on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and farrier work. His adoption fee is $500.
