Pets of the Week: Jan. 19

The Daily Times staff

Sprocket: Sprocket is a sweet, happy and eager-to-please young man. He is a heeler mix, and, at 10 months old, he is at the perfect age to train. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play outside in the sun.

Sammi: Sammi is a 2-year-old retriever mix looking for the perfect family to come along. He like to run and play and would be a great addition to any family. Sammi would need to stay the night to be neutered.

Alley: Alley is a laid-back gal. She enjoys lounging in the sun and watching the world go by. She is an independent girl who likes to explore her surroundings. She does well with other cats. If you are looking for a mellow cat, look no further.

Chesna: Chesna is a sweet cat looking for a home. She has a healthy coat and pretty black, brown and white markings. Chesna has a sweet button nose and striking eyes to boot. She has an observant, social personality. She loves attention of all kinds and will meow for more petting please. She’s ready to go home with you today.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Glacier: Glacier is a 5-year-old Perlino gelding. He is about 14.2 hands high and weighs about 800 pounds.

He came to Four Corners Equine Rescue as a stray from the Cuba area. Staff named him Glacier for his beautiful blue eyes.

He has been started under saddle, but will need more training. He is current on vaccinations, deworming and farrier work. He will be adopted out with an additional training for the horse and human.

The adoption fee is $600. Call for an appointment to see Glacier.
