New staff joins Presbyterian Medical Services

Pamela Garfield, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, has joined the staff at Presbyterian Medical Services at the Farmington Community Health Center.
She began her appointment on Oct. 12.
Garfield is from New Mexico, and she began her studies at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in university studies.
She graduated from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces with a master’s degree in nursing.
Physician assistant Stephen Smith has also joined PMS at the Farmington Community Health Center.
He is a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
