Early

Dogs

Early: Early has been playing fetch all alone. She needs a family to come adopt her and then she will be able to play all the time. Early is a sweet 1-year-old hound mix looking for a best friend who likes to play fetch. She gets along great with everyone she meets. If you think she is what you have been missing, stop on in and meet her. She will show off her tennis ball catching moves.

Twinkle Toes

Twinkle Toes: Twinkle Toes has been calling the shelter home since Sept. 5. She is very sweet and loves people. She gets excited in her kennel when people walk by, but once she is out, she settles down and is ready to go for a walk in the park. If you are looking for a loyal companion, look no further. Twinkle Toes will be your dance

Cats

Louie

Louie: Louie is a sweet youngster who is very beautiful with her gray, black and white markings. She would like to sit on your windowsill and watch the world go by. Her adoption fee is $70, and she is already spayed so she can go home today.

Morrison

Morrison: Morrison is a sweet, five-month old kitten. He is very friendly and comes right to the front of the kennel to greet you. He is talkative and will let you know that he’d like your attention. He’s playful with people and toys in his kennel. He enjoys stretching out or sitting on your lap while having his neck and chin scratched. He snuggles up when being picked up and held. He would love to find a family to snuggle.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check Petfinder.com for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Horse

Pen

Pen is a 6-year-old paint gelding. He is very inquisitive and full of life, and he loves his treats. He is ready to start training for riding. Pen stands about 14.3 hands high and weighs about 900 pounds.

He leads, loads and stands for the farrier. A home that has time to work with him using Natural Horsemanship techniques would be perfect for Pen. Adoption fee is $600.
