Dogs

Nissa

Nissa: Meet Nissa, a sweet older gal who needs a family that will help her build her confidence. Nissa would sure like to settle into a safe and comfortable home where she can be a valued member of the family. She was recently treated for heartworm disease while at the shelter and will need to be on a heartworm preventative for life. Because of her treatment, she is currently on a restricted exercise routine, but does like to go out for short potty breaks and to soak up some sun. Are you the one who will help Nissa blossom into the fabulous pet she was meant to be? Come meet her and let’s find out.

Andre

Andre: Andre a little dog with a very big personality. With lots of energy and high confidence, he will be a fun addition to your home. Andre has way too much energy to be much of a lap dog at this time. Too many people to meet, too much to see, too much to do for him to sit still for long. What he does have to offer is hour upon hour of fun and entertainment for his new owner. If you are looking for a ball of energy, laughs and fun, come meet Andre.

Cats

Davy

Davy: Meet Davy. He’s a very sweet boy who loves being petted and cuddled. He will reward you with a big purr. He’s got beautiful unique markings and is a very handsome cat. Davy will need to stay the night to be neutered before he can go home.

Winifred

Winifred: Winifred is a very playful and energetic kitten who loves to run, climb and explore. She just adores toys and running around, but at the end of the day, she will come cuddle with you. She loves other kitties who want a friend to play with.

The Farmington Animal Shelter is located at 133 Browning Parkway and can be reached at 505-599-1098. Check Petfinder.com for a up-to-date list of pets up for adoption.

Horse

Tilly

Tilly:This horse is a gentle, 20-year-old bay mare looking for a retirement home. She is easy to handle and would love some quality time being groomed and loved on. Tilly is not trained to ride. She is blind on her right side, although that doesn’t bother her. She is current on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and farrier work. Adoption fee for Tilly is $250.
