Gram's World Workshop:The two-session series will introduce seniors to technology. The first session will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, followed by a second class from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center, 109 E. Bloomfield C.A.R.E. (Community Awareness Reaching Everyone) Coalition: This group of Bloomfield city personnel, business professionals, school representatives and residents meets monthly to discuss how to make Bloomfield a better place to live, work and play. Bloomfield Seniors Holiday Cookie Fundraiser: Cookies are made twice a week starting Nov. 10. Flavors include chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate chip, peanut butter, biscochitos, coconut macaroons and oatmeal raisin. People can begin ordering cookies Nov. 1. More info: 505-632-8351.

Bloomfield Seniors Christmas Raffle: People can purchase tickets for the raffle through Dec. 18. Winners can win a stone necklace and a $100 gas card. Tickets are $2 each or six for $10. To purchase tickets, stop by the senior center at 124 W. Ash St.; booths at the Farmers Market in Bloomfield or Flora Vista; and the Walmart on East Main Street in Farmington.

Bloomfield Seniors Utility Help: The program begins Nov. 1. Utility assistance is available to people 60 or older who live in the 87413 zip code or who frequently visit the Bloomfield Senior Center. Qualifying applicants will receive $100 paid directly to their utility accounts. Wood pellets, coal and firewood are also available for assistance. Applicants will need to submit receipts for the heating fuels. Applications are available at the senior center, 124 W. Ash St. More info: 505-632-8351. 

Medicare Part D counseling: Counseling is available by appointment only every Monday starting Nov. 2 and ending Dec. 3 at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center annex, 208 Wall St., Farmington. More info: 505-599-1380

Flu shots: Walgreens will offer vaccines on Nov. 5 at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center, 109 E. La Plata St. Flu shots cost $20 for people younger than 65 and pneumonia shots are $110. People 65 or older should bring their Medicare card. More info: 505-599-1380

Blood Pressure Clinic: Clinics will be at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 10 and Nov. 24 at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center. More info: 505-599-1380

Thanksgiving Dinner: Join the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center for Thanksgiving Dinner at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 11. The cost is a $3 donation for people 60 or older and $6 for people younger than 60. More info: 505-599-1380
