Cooper was once a wild colt roaming in the Thoreau area of New Mexico. Now he is a curious, albeit skeptical, 7-year-old gelding. Cooper halters and stands for the farrier. He stands about 15 hands high and weighs about 800 pounds. His animated trot is beautiful to watch. The perfect home would be with a person willing to spend the time to grow the trust needed to continue his training using natural horsemanship techniques. His adoption fee is $250 and includes four sessions with a professional trainer. For more information, contact Four Corners Equine Rescue at 505-334-7220 or visit www.fourcornersequinerescue.org.
