Dr. Timothy "Tim" Watson left this world suddenly on 12 May 2023. Tim was a kind soul who was loved in his roles as a father, uncle, nephew, brother, and friend. His larger than life presence did not come to an end with his death as his spirit lives on.
He was born to the late Reverend Robert and Vonetta Watson in 1968. Tim was father to Jenna and Amanda Watson and brother to Robert (Rita Moss) Watson. After graduating from high school in Farmington, New Mexico, Tim's stellar student experience was in Tucson, Arizona at the University of Arizona where he graduated from their School of Pharmacy as a Doctor (PharmD) and served as the Student President of the National Pharmacy Association. Tim continued to excel post-graduation earning his MBA as well as serving in a variety of roles with Eli Lilly, Deloitte and eventually starting his own business. Tim even had his own pharmaceutical formulations study published.
Tim loved spending time with his two daughters, Jenna (attending Southern Methodist University - SMU) and Amanda (attending Baylor University) Watson. Tim felt at home anytime he was in the mountains, having a great affinity for anywhere there were peaks, such as Durango where he spent some time as a Ski Instructor at Purgatory. He claimed the Dallas - Fort Worth area as his home for much of his life, particularly Flower Mound where he had many friends. He enjoyed anything western and became a true Texan with his massive cowboy hats, boots, and snug fitting Wranglers, while riding in his F-150 with his best friend, Daisy (his massive goldendoodle) riding shotgun. Country concerts were his passion, particularly Chris Stapleton and George Strait. Tim enjoyed being an uncle to his nieces Gabrielle and Caroline, as well as his nephew Joshua Watson. He enjoyed being a chosen son and indeed "bossed around and constantly counseled" by his dear "Aunts" Joan Watson, Janice Watson, Wilma Gadd and Marcella Zenyuch.
Tim is with the angels in heaven. Rest in Forever Peace.
There will have a private memorial service and the family requests in lieu of flowers to please donate to the American Heart Association at heart.org.
