Daniel Paul Nez

Daniel Paul Nez, beloved Husband, Dad, Papa, and Great Papa, passed on from this life on January 13, 2023. Dan was born September 1943 to Sidney Nez Sr and Nila Nez. He was a member of Netherwood Park Church of Christ. Dan proudly served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam Conflict. He is preceded in death by his son, 2 grandsons, his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife Veronica Nez, his “kiddos” Maureen & husband Michael Manuelito; Deanna & husband James B. Moore; Jerald Nez & Lita Foster; Dedra Kinsey; Daniela Rios; Wilfred & wife Clancey Nez. His grandchildren Michaelina, Kathryn, Maurice, Kwantell, Jacob, Michelle, Jennifer, Tamia, Jasmine, Ayanna, and Zoe; great-grandsons Duane and Maurice Jr. His siblings Sidney Jr, Philip, and Theresa. Visitation & service will be held at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd, Albuquerque NM on January 23, 2023, at 9:30 am. He will be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery in a private burial. In lieu of flowers, Dan requested new unopened packaged socks (men's or women’s) to be donated to the New Mexico VA Homeless Veterans Clothing Closet.
