Gerald K. Tewangoitewa of Farmington, NM unexpectedly passed away on June 4, 2022. Born August 16, 1969. He was affectionally called Ger or Gerry to those who knew him well. He was known for his sense of humor and drumming skills. He was generous and had a big heart. He was always willing to give his own shirt to anyone who needed it. In the last few years of his life, he struggled with a lot of personal battles but he always tried to keep things humorous. When he wasn’t cracking a joke, he was very quiet and easy going and always seemed to have a smile on his face. He loved singing and listening to music. Anytime a classic rock song came on, he wanted to blast the music and air drum thru the song. For the past few years, he did his best to help care for his mother, Dorothy. Ger will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin and beloved siblings, Pernell, Bill (Billy) and Ramona (Monie) and dear son, Nico. He is survived by his mother Dorothy, his sisters, Brook, Debbie and Pearl and his brother Vernon. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Memory Gardens in Flora Vista, NM at 11AM.
