It is with great sadness that we announce that Edward Leroy “Roy” Harmon Sr. passed away peacefully on 6/1/2022 following a lengthy battle with his health. He was 77. Roy was born in 1944 in Tarkio, Missouri to Marshall & Margaret Harmon Roy spent most of his life as a Truck Driver, crossing the country as an OTR Driver and then delivering cement in Douglas, Wyoming before finally retiring from driving a water truck while servicing the oil & gas industry in the San Juan Basin of New Mexico. Roy loved to hunt & fish, spend time with his family and friends, tinker on his truck, tend to his yard, and spoil his beloved pets. Roy was strong in his Christian faith and attended church regularly when his health allowed. Upon retirement Roy moved to Choteau, Montana where he enjoyed spending his days with his friends and his hobbies. Roy is preceded in death by his wife; Cathy Harmon, his granddaughters; Ashley Harmon & Lybertee Clark, his parents; Lyle & Margaret Courtier and Marshall Harmon, and his brother, Bruce Courtier. Roy is survived by his companion, Sharon Cotter. Sons; Butch Harmon (and wife Autumn), Robert Harmon (and wife Michelle), Roger Harmon, and Justin White (and wife Korey). Daughters: Rhonda McMullin (and husband Mark), Schandrae White, and Jami Blackwell (and husband Jason). Brothers: Robin Courtier, Randy Courtier, Doug Courtier, Kevin Courtier, David Courtier, Kent Courtier, and Rodney Courtier. Sisters: Kathy Courtier and Vicky Courtier. Grandchildren: Elene Arellano (and husband Tarence), Brendan Harmon, Tysen Harmon, Alex Harmon, Aaron Harmon, Alyssa Harmon, Debbie Winner (and husband Brandon), Tysen Cotter, David Finley, Wyatt Finley, Jasmine Blackwell, Jozie Blackwell, Jase Blackwell, Abeni White, Shadow White, and Mason White. Great-grandchildren: Ella Arellano, Raelynn Chuskia, Joseph Winner, Aiden Winner, Maddison Cotter, and Greyson Cotter. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dave West will be officiating the service at Crossroads Community Church located at 2400 N. Butler, Farmington, NM 87401.
