On Friday January 7, 2022 our Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter Kiona Gwyen Begay Passed away in Oklahoma City, Ok at the age of 25 years old. Kiona was born on July 8, 1996 in Farmington, NM. She graduated from Kirtland Central High school in May 2014, Kiona Married the love of her life Emmit Begay on August 2, 2019. After graduation they called Tulsa home. Kiona was excited to start her new job at The Hard Rock Café/Hotel in Tulsa.

She is survived By her Husband Emmit Begay, Daughter Nevaeh Begay, Parents Eudora and Kenny Benally, with Quentin Alfred, Brothers Quinnoltin Alfred (Megan),and Kaeden Benally, Sister Kaelah Benally, Grandparents John and Eva Tso, Ambrose Sr. and Mae Benally. Her Uncles Derek and Theodric Tso, All her favorite little cousins: Her sister Derriesha Medina, Dante, Deronte, Delonte and Tiahna Tso, Tyrone, Demetrius and Jacob Tso, Ayson, Aaliyah, Jordan, Tahleeyah, Madison, Bradley, Elijah and Haelii Tso.

She is proceeded in death by Grandparents Glenn and Rosemary Alfred, Great Grandmother Alice Gilmore, and numerous Uncles, Aunts and cousins.

She had a huge love for every person in her family. Her favorite things were going to the park, watching movies, or going fishing with her husband and daughter. Her favorite colors were Teal and Pink. She had variety of music that she loved, some of her favorites were BTS, Queen, Wei, One Direction, etc. Her favorite meal she would always cook when she came home was Chicken Alfredo. She loved her family very much and well be miss dearly.

Kiona has been cremated and a Celebration of her life will be held at Riverside Bread of life in Fruitland, NM on January 14, 2022 at 2 pm with Pastor Raymond Henry officiating
