Bloomfield - Richard James Rielley Jr., 70, passed away in his home surrounded by his wife, sons ,daughter in law and grandchildren on November 18, 2021. He was born on

January 9, 1951 to Richard Sr. and Helen Rielley in Farmington, New Mexico.

Richard graduated from Aztec high school in 1969. He joined the Navy immediately after graduating. Where he was a aviation electrician, for 4 years , After discharge from the Navy Richard met and married his wife Vickie together they raised two wonderful sons (Kelley and Brien) Richard went to work for El Paso Natural Gas, and eventually formed his own company R&V electrical services. He retired from the oil and gas industry in 2013 after 40 years. He was greatly involved helping vets as a member of the VFW and DAV. Richard had a passion for kids he loved spending time with his grandkids and supporting the San Juan Country Fair kids. He enjoyed serving on the Fair board several times. Richard loved the outdoors and enjoyed farming his small acreage farm in Aztec for several years until moving to Bloomfield.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; father, Richard Rielley Sr. and mother, Helen Rielley. He is survived by his loving wife; Vickie Rielley, sons; Kelley (Lisa) Rielley and Brien Rielley, sisters; Patricia (Bruce) Hare,Bernadette McClain , Rosemary Mason, Kathleen (Myron) Dimmett, grandchildren; Lily Frank, Mary Frank, Andrew(Bubba) Frank, and numerous nieces , nephews and many beloved friends.

Services will be held at 10am on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at St. Joseph Church in Aztec, New Mexico. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Farmington, New Mexico. A dinner will be held after Burial at Hurricane Air and Swabbing on 64 HWY.

Pallbearers are; Kelley Rielley, Brien Rielley, Jason Hare, Brent Byrum, Can Harrington, Myron Dimmett . Honorary Pallbearers are; Bill Ross, Bruce Hare Sr., Bruce Hare Jr.
