Farmington - Anna M. Salazar, age 74, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2021.

She was born January 17, 1947 in Blanco, NM and was a resident of Farmington, NM. Anna was a strong woman, but her body finally said it was time to go.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Aniceto and Pablita Casaus; brothers, Repito Casaus, Louis Casaus, Ernest Casaus, Raynel Casaus, Lionel Casaus, Tobias Casaus and Joe Casaus; sisters, Ramoncita Palacios, and Virginia Amaro.

Anna is survived by her loving children, Ignacio Salazar Jr. and wife Tina, Augustine Salazar, Angel Perez and husband Manuel Jr., and Moses Salazar; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Evangeline Montano , Pauline Atencio, Rosita Brandt and husband J.J, and Berni Casaus; brother Ramon Casaus and wife Barbara; numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and a host of lifelong friends. Anna will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Rosary will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 9:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 410 N. Allen Ave, Farmington, NM 87401. Mass at 10:00am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E Main Street, Farmington, NM 87402.

Pall Bearers will be Manuel Perez III, Matthew Salazar, Isiah Perez, Ernest Casaus, Jose Martinez, and Jacob Salazar. Honorary Bearers will be her Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
