FARMINGTON — A cash reward is being offered for information on the death of a man found on a county road in the area of Chaco Culture National Historical Park.

The FBI is offering up to $1,000 for information about the "suspicious death" of Alan Jim, 35, according to an FBI press release.

The agency and the Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety is investigating the case.

Jim's body was discovered around 4:53 a.m. on Feb. 7, in the southbound lane of County Road 7900, about 6 miles south of U.S. Highway 550 in the area of Chaco Culture National Historical Park.

The press release states the autopsy results determined Jim died of blunt force trauma to his head and upper body.

Jim was six feet, one inch tall with black hair, brown eyes, about 215 pounds and Native American, according to an FBI poster.
