Ripp Watkins hit three home runs as part of his 4-for-4 day at the plate for Aztec as the Tigers roared past the Bengals of Gallup.
The Tigers beat Gallup 14-4 at home on Tuesday for their third win in four games to open the season.
Tanner Moore also hit a home run in the game, his second of the season. Moore finished the game 3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and five RBIs to go with his homer.
Dylan Stinson was 3-for-3 in the game with a double, RBI and stolen base.
"We have been preaching to these guys about putting good at-bats together. It paid off today," said Aztec assistant coach Brett Alexander. "Now we just need to carry this into the Farmington tourney."
Drew Bentley earned the win on the mound Tuesday, throwing four innings and earning all four Gallup runs.
