FARMINGTON — A brief glance at Day 5 of the 2008 NHSFR:

Run of the Day: Spencer Wright of Milford, Utah, wasn't happy with his first saddle bronc ride during the morning session, so he didn't hesitate when it came to accepting a re-ride. That decision paid off, as he scored a 72 to take the performance win and moved into second place in the average, behind only his brother, Jesse.

Quote of the Day: "The hard part's done, and the easy part's coming up. There (in the finals), you've only got to go against 20 guys, and here, you've got to go against 30 a night." — Arizona's Tyler Whitlow when asked about competing with his brother, Travis, in Saturday night's finals.
