ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—A Colorado couple has been indicted in connection with an armed bank robbery in New Mexico two months ago.

Prosecutors say 42-year-old Robert O'Dell Neihart and his 42-year-old wife Denise Myrick allegedly robbed a Wells Fargo branch in Farmington on Sept. 21.

The indictment also alleges Neihart pointed a firearm at a bank customer and discharged the gun after the robbery.

The couple was arrested in Ignacio, Colo., where they both live.

Authorities say Myrick was transported from Colorado to New Mexico and made her initial appearance on a criminal complaint in federal court in Albuquerque. She pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Wednesday.

Neihart remains in federal custody in Colorado pending transfer to New Mexico to face the charges in the indictment. His arraignment has yet to be scheduled.
