SILVER CITY — A Silver City man was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly threatened the occupants of an apartment with a knife and demanded money and drugs.
Silver City police were called to the Lintero Apartments on the 2700 block of Leslie Road just after 8 p.m. in reference to a man allegedly threatening others with a knife.
The incident reportedly started as an argument between the suspect, Jesse Davis, and a 27-year-old male victim, who is also roommates with Davis. The victim claimed Davis threatened him with a knife and demanded money and drugs from him. The victim said he gave Davis $20.
Davis was arrested and charged with armed robbery, a second degree felony, assault on a household member with intent to commit a violent felony, a third degree felony, battery against a household member, a misdemeanor, and tampering with a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Davis was booked into the Grant County Detention Center. His bond was set at $32,000 cash or surety.
