The Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce announced Monday the award winners of the Aspenfest Parade float competition and the winners were SADD.
Ruidoso High School Students Against Destructive Decisions were awarded first place for their float depicting a mono-rail, in keeping with the theme of "Lincoln County, the next 100 years."
RHS SADD will keep the trophy for one year.
Schlotzsky's was the big winner in the small float division this year. Schlotzsky's also will have possession of a traveling trophy for the next year.

In the large float division - second-place plaque - Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Blanca; third-place plaque - Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino
In the small float division - decond-place plaque - Sooners Little League Football; third-place plaque - Boy Scouts of America
