The Deming-Luna County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidate's Forum from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church located at 1020 S. Granite St, Deming.

As in the past, the audience will be able to submit questions to the candidates to determine where they stand on particular issues.

The moderator for the evening will be reporter Matt Robinson of the Deming Headlight.

A full house is expected, so come early as seating will be limited. This election year should address many issues that will affect the southwestern region of the state.

The Tuesday scheduled candidates is:

Luna County Clerk (unopposed)

Luna County Commissioners, District 3 candidates; R. Javier Diaz, Phillip Skinner and Martha Long

New Mexico Sixth Judicial District Judge candidates; Jennifer Delaney and Jarod Hofacket
